Unique Kitchen Remodeling Process
Research remodeling companies near Chevy Chase, MD, (or Bethesda, Washington DC, or any of the surrounding communities) and one thing you will discover is that we are unique. We offer two distinct methods for home renovations, depending on the way you prefer to work.
One option is to work with us as a traditional kitchen contractor, the other is to have us manage the construction process so that you have the most control with the least amount of risk. Over the years, we’ve found our construction management method provides the most customer satisfaction while ensuring you get the perfect kitchen for your home in the most cost-effective way.
With Managed Renovations’ unique process of helping you control the renovation, we connect and contract you with qualified, experienced, licensed, and insured subcontractors and tradesmen with the knowledge, ability, and resources to handle your kitchen remodeling project expertly.
If you prefer to work with kitchen contractors you have experience with, we are happy to put them through our vetting process and ensure they are right for the scope of work and kitchen design ideas you have in mind. You should not be expected to know everything an experienced contractor would know; however, you also don’t have to take our word for it. Plus, if the subs aren’t living up to your expectations, we will help you make adjustments to your construction team to get the right fit for your remodeling project.

Low-Risk Payment Schedule
It is a common practice for general contractors to require an upfront deposit. For a custom kitchen or any remodeling project for that matter, 25%-30% of the total fixed price cost is normal.
With Managed Renovations, you pay deposits (when required) only as each trade or subcontractor starts their work on your project (with progress payments as their work proceeds), so you have less money committed prior to the work being completed. In addition, we provide our clients access to our highly recommended wholesale sources, allowing you to secure exceptional prices for your selections of lighting and plumbing fixtures, kitchen cabinets, kitchen countertops, tile selections, and more.
Managing the Details
Our role in your renovation project goes beyond connecting you to the team of trades and subcontractors. Although helping you save money on your home improvement is important to us, we also take on the challenges of scheduling, managing, and reviewing all the interrelated work required for your remodel. Through our experience and attention to detail, we keep your construction project running smoothly with few or no surprises. This is why we say our system is “The Better Way to Build” with Less Cost, Less Risk and More Control.
